Hands-on metal jewelry classes for adults (18+).
Suitable for complete beginners through those ready to learn torch soldering.

Materials and basic tools provided; students may bring personal raw materials if desired.
Course Structure
Intro to Metalworking (Beginner)
Fundamentals: metal types (sheet, wire), basic tools (files, saws, pliers, hammers).
Safety and studio etiquette.
Measuring, marking, cutting, filing, shaping, and basic texturing.
Simple projects: rings, pendants, earrings using cold-connection techniques and forming.
Intermediate Techniques
Sawing, refining filing, and basic finishing
Advanced forming and texture development.
Projects combining multiple techniques: cutting, layered pieces, and components.
Torch Soldering (Beginner Torch to Confident Solderer)
Introduction to soldering theory, flux, cleaning, and annealing.
Comprehensive torch safety, gas handling, ventilation, and personal protective equipment.
Demonstration of solder types, flame control, and proper heating techniques.
Hands-on practice with simple solder joins
Soldering for basics
Pickling, quenching, and cleaning soldered pieces; finishing and polishing.
Class Formats & Length
Single-session workshops (2–3 hours): fast-paced introductions or focused skills (e.g., jump rings, soldering demo).
Multi-session courses (2–4 sessions): progressive skill-building with take-home projects.
Private lessons: one-on-one coaching tailored to a student’s pace and goals available.
