Policies, Participant Agreement & FAQs
By enrolling in a workshop, the participant, or their parent/legal guardian if applicable, acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all policies outlined below, including liability waiver, code of conduct, safety guidelines, media release, and refund terms.
1
Agreement To terms
Participation in workshops may involve the use of sharp tools, equipment, and specialized materials. By enrolling, participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to exercise reasonable care at all times. The participant (or their parent/legal guardian, if applicable) releases and holds harmless the instructor, hosting facility, and affiliated parties from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation, except where prohibited by law. Participants accept full responsibility for their actions and agree to follow all safety instructions provided.
2
Liability Waiver
Participants agree to conduct themselves in a respectful, safe, and appropriate manner at all times. Violence, harassment, discrimination, disruptive behavior, intoxication, theft, damage to property, and unsafe conduct are not permitted. Participants are required to follow all instructor guidance and facility rules. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the workshop without refund. The instructor and/or facility reserve the right to refuse or revoke participation at their sole discretion to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees.

Code of Conduct
Safety, Clothing, & Tool Responsibility
4
Participants are expected to dress appropriately for hands-on workshop activities. For safety, it is strongly recommended to wear non-synthetic or natural fiber clothing, closed-toe shoes, and to secure long hair. Loose clothing and jewelry should be avoided. Safety glasses and aprons are encouraged or may be required depending on the activity. The instructor reserves the right to deny participation to anyone not dressed appropriately for safe participation.
Tools and equipment are provided for use during the workshop and are lent in good faith. Participants are expected to use all tools responsibly and in accordance with instructor guidance. Participants acknowledge that they are responsible for using tools safely and accept all risks associated with their use. All tools must be returned at the end of the session; any tools removed, lost, or damaged due to misuse or negligence may result in an invoice for the cost of replacement. Normal wear from proper use is expected.
Materials included in your class kit are yours to keep unless otherwise stated.
Health, Safety, & Accommodations
5
We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all participants. Reasonable accommodations for medical needs may be requested in advance and will be handled with discretion and respect. All shared tools and work surfaces are carefully sanitized between classes. To help protect the well-being of all attendees and instructors, we ask that you do not attend if you are feeling unwell. We appreciate your consideration, as some individuals in our community may be more health-sensitive.
We may capture occasional photographs or short video content during workshops to share the experience and showcase student work. By enrolling, you (or your parent/legal guardian, if applicable) grant permission for this content to be used by the instructor and affiliated business for website, social media, and promotional materials. We are mindful and respectful in how content is captured and shared, with a focus on the creative process rather than personal identification whenever possible. If you prefer not to be included, please notify the instructor in writing prior to the workshop, and your preference will be honored.
